How to read the Honey Bae box

Five phrases sit on the front of the box. Two are facts, two are positioning and one is a claim.

The two facts

"12 Pack" and "15g Per Sachet" are plain facts you can check with a kitchen scale. They are also the only numbers on the front of the box.

On the boxWhat it isCan you check it?
12 PackThe count of sachetsYes, by counting
15g Per SachetThe weight of honey in eachYes, on a kitchen scale
Natural HoneyThe stated ingredientPartly: the ingredients field agrees
Pro-Male SupplementWho it is sold toNo: it is positioning
"Performance & Stamina Boost"The brand's line about what it is meant to doNo: the FDA has not evaluated it

"Natural Honey"

Honey is the ingredient the brand states everywhere: on the box, in the ingredients field and in the pictures. "Natural" has no fixed legal meaning for a product like this. Read it as a description of the honey and not as a test result.

"Pro-Male Supplement"

This phrase tells you who the brand is selling to. It is not a medical term, and no agency defines it. The word "supplement" does carry weight: it places the box under the rules for dietary supplements, which the FDA does not approve before sale.

“Under DSHEA, FDA does not have the authority to approve dietary supplements before they are marketed.”

"Performance & Stamina Boost"

The smallest line on the front is the only one that says what the product is meant to do. It is the brand's claim, and the box offers nothing to back it. The notice on the product page covers it: the statement has not been evaluated by the FDA.

17% of buyers rated the box one star. Read the line as an aim the brand has set for itself, not as a result you can count on.

What a full label would add

A supplement label normally carries a Supplement Facts panel: serving size, each ingredient and its amount. None of the seven product pictures shows that panel for Honey Bae. Until you see one, the four botanicals in the description are names without numbers.

Question

In one line

What does "Pro-Male Supplement" mean on the Honey Bae box?
